Effective communication is the key to success.
Currently, Sunshine Webster serves as the director of the program for the Masters of Engineering Technical Management degree at Texas A&M University. She was formerly the senior manager of talent development for Q2, a global financial experience company that provides digital banking and lending solutions. In this role, she is responsible for growth and development opportunities for all team members. Prior to Q2, Dr. Webster spent time at the University of Texas as a faculty member in the College of Engineering and as an MBA+ Coach. In this capacity, she worked with students on improving their communications skills, including public speaking, interviewing, small talk, networking, and writing.
Dr. Webster supports non-profit organizations in her spare time with career development, strategic planning, budget development, public communications, and grant writing. She has raised approximately $3 million for Austin non-profit organizations through grant writing. She formerly sat on the Advisory Committee for the Women in Leadership Program at Texas A&M-Texarkana
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. in Communication Studies with an emphasis in organizational communication from The University of Texas at Austin.
